Meet Bass & Fabienne – Highland’s Owners
We’re Bass and Fabienne, passionate adventurers and nature lovers, and we’re so glad you found Highland. Our glamping retreat near the Grand Canyon was born from a dream to create a space where people can escape, recharge, and connect with nature without giving up the comforts of home.
Highland is more than just a place to stay. This land has been in Fabienne’s family for nearly 50 years, and she grew up right here among the pines. Her deep connection to the Grand Canyon inspires everything we do from protecting the natural landscape to creating a peaceful, personal guest experience.
After years of camping and exploring national parks, we designed Highland to reflect the best of both worlds. Each safari-style tent blends rustic charm with cozy comforts, offering a one-of-a-kind Grand Canyon glamping experience that feels both grounded and luxurious.
If you are deciding between glamping Grand Canyon style or staying at a traditional Grand Canyon hotel, Highland offers something different; something slower, quieter, and closer to nature. And because we know adventures are better with company, we offer dog friendly glamping so your pup can come too.
Located just 4 miles from the South Rim, Highland is perfectly positioned to enjoy the most popular things to do at the Grand Canyon without the crowds or the highway noise. After a day of sightseeing and hiking, return to Highland to unwind under the stars.
Whether you're new to Grand Canyon glamping or a seasoned explorer looking for something more personal than a Grand Canyon hotel, we’d love to host you. There’s no shortage of things to do at the Grand Canyon, but the quiet moments at Highland Grand Canyon Glamping might just be your favorite part.
