Day 1: Arrive + Unwind
Check in at Highland and settle into your tent (Pro tip: Sage and Juniper are guest favorites for sunsets and stargazing!)
Head into the park and ride the free shuttle along Hermit Road for amazing views of the Colorado River
Catch sunset at Hopi or Mohave Point, where the light show over the canyon is pure magic
Dinner at El Tovar (reservation highly recommended!)
Stargaze with our shared telescope or from your private deck at Highland
Day 2: Canyon Views + Quiet Moments
Sunrise hike on the South Kaibab Trail to Ooh Aah Point or Cedar Ridge (it’s worth the early wake-up!)
Not an early adventurer? Head to Yavapai Point instead, it’s one of the easiest and most beautiful sunrise spots on the South Rim.
Breakfast at the El Tovar Dining Room You’ve earned it after that early hike! Classy vibes and canyon views make it worth the wait.
Wander the historic Grand Canyon Village, browse the gift shops, and soak up the old-school charm of places like Hopi House and Kolb Studio.
Horseback trail ride with Grand Canyon Trail Rides through the Kaibab National Forest. A great way to see the forest and get away from everyone else.
Grab lunch to-go from Foodie Club in Tusayan and bring it back to Highland for a chill afternoon
Grill dinner at camp and enjoy s’mores by the communal firepit
Stargaze again or play a game by lantern light in the communal area
Day 3: Explore + Ease Out
Wake up with coffee on your tent’s deck. Pack up and head out.
Breakfast at Drigo’s in Tusayan before reentering the park
If you’re heading out via the East Entrance, take Desert View Drive, stopping at viewpoints like Moran Point and Lipan Point. Make sure to stop at the Cameron Trading Post for handmade jewelry and a delicious Native Taco
Leaving through the Main Entrance? Head back into the park for one last view of the canyon. Hit the Chevron Station in Valle. It is surprisingly well-stocked with turquoise jewelry, unique souvenirs, road trip snacks, and locally made goods
